We are writing to provide you with the procedure that applies if you, as a registrar, choose to verify registrants’ identity and contact information.
Regarding the registrar’s option to verify registrants’ identity and contact information:
It is important to emphasize that it is entirely your choice whether to verify registrants’ identity and contact information yourself, or to have Punktum.dk handle it.
This is therefore an option available to you, not an obligation.
You have previously received the updated Registrar Contract and the Addendum to the Registrar Contract on Verification of Identity and Contact Information, which gave registrars the option to choose to verify registrants’ identity and contact information.
The exact requirements for verification are detailed in the procedure sent here in Danish, and English.

The technical implementation of the NIS2 changes will soon be ready for you to test.
A webinar will be held on October 22nd regarding technical implementation. A separate invitation to the webinar will be sent. During the webinar, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the procedure.
