As ofJuly 1st 2026, Punktum dk will update the registrar agreement following the decision to change the administration model.
You are required to review and sign the updated registrar agreement including the NIS2 addendum by June 1st 2026.
Key changes to the registrar agreement, July 1 st 2026:
Transition to registrar-management. Registration of new .dk domain names can only be created with registrar-management.
1-year registration period. Registration of new .dk domain names can only be for a period of 1 year. Existing domain names can only be renewed for 1 year, and renewal can occur no earlier than 2 months before the expiry of the existing registration period.
Shortening of the deadline for data and ID verification. Deadline for a registrant to complete data and ID verification will be significantly shortened to 10 days (from the current 30 days) if aggravating circumstances warrant it. Aggravating circumstances may exist in cases of suspected abuse of a .dk domain name, including reasonable suspicion that the registrant's identity and contact information are incorrect.
Information about end-user pricing. Information about end-user pricing must be provided by registrar on its consumer-facing website, in a clear, unambiguous and easily accessible manner.
Ensuring easy and fast registrar transfer. Authorization code must be provided by registrar immediately and without conditions at any time so transfer to a new registrar can be done with undue delay.

If someone else needs to sign the agreement, please forward the email to the appropriate person so that the agreement can be reviewed and signed by June 1st 2026.
The changes to Punktum dk's registrar contract will take place gradually:
The first changes will as mentioned above apply from July 1st 2026.
As of July 1st 2027 the registrar contract will be replaced by a new and further amended registrar contract "registrar contract II".

By July 1st 2028, Punktum dk will have fully transitioned to the new administration model.
