We’re pleased to share that we are adding a few new poll messages, and that some of the old poll messages have been refined for precision and to eliminate any potential ambiguity. These changes will go live on Wednesday, 11 March.
The following updates are included
1. New Poll Messages – Email delivery failures
We now provide notifications when emails fail to be delivered, both for primary and secondary addresses.
You’ll receive the following poll messages:
Primary email: “Email delivery failed %reason% for the primary email, %email%, of %userid%. Please review and correct the email address.”
Secondary email:
“Email delivery failed %reason% for the secondary email, %email%, of %userid%. Please review and correct the email address.”
The %reason% field can contain: antispam, bad_checksum, config, failed, unknown
2. Updates to change of registrant poll messages We’ve refined our notifications related to change of ownership to provide clearer wording.
Current poll message:
“%.dk has been transferred to new registrant %-DK” New poll message: “The registrant has been changed to PP8991-DK for %.dk” ---------------------------------- Current poll message: “The transfer of %.dk to the new registrant %-DK has been cancelled, as the mandatory ID check was rejected” New poll message: “The registrant has not been changed to PP8992-DK for hoya.dk, as the mandatory ID and/or data check was rejected”
