Now, we are looking into the questions we have received from registrars regarding the pending status on changing registrant request on registrar managed domain names.
Registrars can´t see status on a change registrant request, nor cancel the request. Instead, the request remains active until the request expires, and the pending status is updated.
We are looking into improvements for this functionality
Specifically, we are working on:
Introducing an EPP extension that allows you to cancel a pending change registrant request at any time, without waiting for it to expire. The same cancellation option will be available in the new Registrar Portal.
Making pending change registrant requests visible through both EPP and the Event Log in the new Registrar Portal.
With these improvements, you will be able to:
Initiate a change of registrant request
View the status of the request
Cancel the request if needed
Please note: If you need to initiate a new request while another is pending on the same registrant, you will need to cancel the existing request before starting a new one.
