We are pleased to inform you that all elements of the NIS2 Directive have been fully implemented in our system as of today.
As a result, registrars can now verify their registrants' identity (name) and contact information (address and e-mail address) directly through our system.
In the link below you will find the Procedure for a Registrar’s Verification of Identity and Contact Information.
This document outlines:
Data requirements: Which information the Registrar must verify.
Timing: When Punktum requires verification to take place.
Documentation: What documentation can be used for verification.
Compliance checks: What documentation Punktum dk may request if we conduct checks on the registrar’s verification process.
Consequences: What happens if there is lack of verification.
Please note that the Registrar is still obliged to ensure that the information is accurate, including telephone number, in accordance with the provisions of the Registrar Contract, regardless of whether the Registrar chooses to verify identity and contact information pursuant to this procedure or not.
