We encourage you to read the update below regarding important changes in the use of REG-handles.
From May 1, 2025, REG-handles will no longer be hidden and may be publicly visible. Due to this we will disable login to our services using a REG-handle.
Why we are doing this
The reason we are removing logins with REG-handle is to enable a significant simplification of our systems - both in general and in relation to NIS2 and the new portal.
Today, we must implement numerous workarounds to "protect" the REG-handle from being displayed, and registrars are forced to deal with the entire "link user to account" issue. Removing REG-handle as a login method makes things easier for both you and us.
Action required regarding the use of your REG-handle
If you log in using your REG-handle, you must update it for EPP and DAS, otherwise your services will be interrupted.
EPP: REG-handle login must be replaced with an EPP service user, which can be created in the registrar portal.
DAS: REG-handle login must be replaced with a DAS service user, which can be created in the registrar portal.
For registrar portal and self-service portal, you will not be able to log in from May 1, 2025.
Registrar portal: Login will only be possible with portal users.
Self-service portal: Login will only be possible with WHOIS handles.
